SEC EDGAR
Filings, submissions metadata, XBRL company facts, and daily indexes.
Open source
We plan to publish our connectors for SEC EDGAR and other public-domain government sources under Apache-2.0, as extensions for OpenBB ODP v5.
The raw collector and egress client are built. The OpenBB ODP v5 provider packages are not published. This page describes the publication plan. We will add repository links and install commands when the first packages are published.
Clean public data should be easy to use anywhere. The connectors are useful on their own, and they let customers verify how public data enters the system.
The Intelligence Engine, the Workstation UI, entity resolution, the relationship graph, the rule engine, and Sector Pack production stay closed. Open-source packages never import closed code.
Provider plan
Each package will declare its licence, its source terms, its rate limits, and the exact fields it returns.
Filings, submissions metadata, XBRL company facts, and daily indexes.
SDN and consolidated sanctions lists, with local screening.
LEI records, parent relationships, and reporting exceptions.
Commitments of Traders positioning data.
Official labor and price releases.
H.15 selected interest rates.
Treasury Fiscal Data.
Rules, notices, and agency documents.
Financial instrument identifiers, used without storing CUSIPs.
Company and person-with-significant-control records, where licence review is complete.
Every provider is designed to respect the source's terms. For SEC EDGAR, requests carry a declared User-Agent and stay below the SEC's fair-access ceiling. We do not rotate IP addresses or User-Agents.
OpenBB and Open Data Platform are names of their respective owners. These plugins are independent and are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
