Corrections & Takedown Policy
How to report an error on SECfilingAI.com, and what happens next.
This page is a draft prepared by the product team for counsel review. It is not legal advice and may change. For questions, contact legal@secfilingai.com.
1. Our commitment
We publish source-linked statements about what companies filed. Every factual item links to the filing it came from. If a statement does not match the source, we want to know.
2. How to report
Email corrections@secfilingai.com. Tell us the page, the statement, what is wrong, and, if possible, the filing that shows the correct information. Companies may also send an official statement or point us to an amendment.
3. What happens next
- The source link on each item is the authoritative record.
- We review reports against the cited filing. We do not promise a human review SLA for individual facts.
- If a statement does not match the filing, we correct or remove it and add a dated “Corrected” note describing the change.
- If the statement accurately reflects the filing, the source link remains the answer. Where a company has filed an amendment or published a response in a filing, we link to it.
4. What we do not remove
We do not remove accurate statements of what was publicly filed unless required by law. We do not accept payment or other consideration to change or remove content, and commercial relationships have no effect on decisions.
5. Personal information
Individuals named in filings, such as officers and directors, can ask us to correct errors in how we present their information. Jurisdiction-specific rights handling is being confirmed with counsel.
6. Legal notices
Legal notices, defamation complaint routing, and preservation procedures are being prepared with counsel. Until then, send legal notices to legal@secfilingai.com.
